For our Fourth Fisher's Favourite we have Terry Abraham.
Award winning outdoors broadcaster, photographer & ale fan, Terry is the director/producer of the BBC hit 'Life of a Mountain: Scafell Pike' & 'Life of a Mountain: Blencathra'.
"I don't really have a favourite view in the Lakes if truth be told. There's simply too many to choose from!
However there is one which resonates with me on a profound level and that's looking to the mighty Scafells in winter from the summit of Bowfell.
In many respects it's a scene that catapulted me on to the career path I'm on today and it all began with producing my BBC hit 'Life of a Mountain: Scafell Pike'
which lead to a sequel on Blencathra.
It proved life-changing for both me and my family and it's funny how countless people who've seen the documentaries compare me or ask if I'm related to
the Abraham brothers famous for their pioneering photography in the Lakeland fells. Of course it's where George Fishers resides to this day.
So the store and that view have a personal meaning for me, especially as staff past and present have always offered me support in what I do,
including an outdoors cinema screening of my Blencathra documentary a year or so ago!"
We'd love to hear your stories too!
